Rooted in Service: Volunteerism in Adarna House and AGFI

As the corporate social responsibility arm of Adarna House, AGFI aims to keep the spirit of volunteerism alive in the organization by empowering its workforce through volunteer opportunities, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community. By participating in outreach programs and community engagements, employees not only enhance their skills but also strengthen their connection to the mission of Adarna House.

Thus, Adarna House employees recently joined forces with AGFI to participate in the Kuwentong Adarna project for the children of Gota de Leche and San Miguel Foundation’s Better World in Smokey Mountain. Echoing the origins of Adarna House itself, Kuwentong Adarna aims to bring the joy of reading to underserved communities through storytelling and book distribution.

By nurturing young minds and fostering a love for reading, Adarna House and AGFI continue to honor their legacy of empowering children to learn and dream. Looking ahead, AGFI remains committed to expanding its volunteer efforts, both within and outside Adarna House, to create more communities that support its vision of making every Filipino child a reader.
